The guidelines are based on Stora Enso’s work in cooperation with customers, as well as “Paper-based packaging recyclability guidelines of the Confederation of European Paper Industries’ (CEPI), the “Beverage carton circularity guideline” of the Alliance for Beverage Cartons and the Environment (ACE) and analysis of selected market-specific recyclability requirements.
The guidelines are also developed to support overall transition towards circularity, as measured by related indicator frameworks such as the WBCSD Factor 10 Circular Transition Indicators frame, of which Stora Enso has part of the development.
